Truth. I don't actually know where my book is at this moment in time. So in a last effort I just looked at the others pages and just twisted it a bit to make it my own. I don't actually know what each projects entails so I may have just copied their idea completely. I understand if I do not earn points for this project I figured trying its better than nothing. I do not want my work to be counted as cheating and that is why I am blogging about my efforts. Thanks.

I thought this week's assignment was very interesting. I already have such a love for photography and am in need of a new camera so this was perfect for helping my in my search to find one. I really loved the site where it had so many ideas for cameras in classrooms. It's amazing how something that seems like it could be a somewhat helpful tool turns into this amazing resource. Super interesting all together.

Culture Grams

This was so much fun! I learned a lot personally and was very interesting. Culture grams is set up so nicely and is so easy to use. Is going to be such a good resource for future teaching years. I loved the information and how it was worded to meet the needs of little kids!

Powerpoint

I just completed my powerpoint. I chose to do it on Halloween considering it is due on October 1st. I had fun with the project. I had a bit of a hard time deciding how long each slide should last, but overall I thought it was a lot of fun. I am really glad we had our guest speaker come and explain things and go over fun options I've never heard of on Powerpoint.

I just completed my Pioneer Library project. I thought this project was a lot of fun because I love looking at new sites. I fell in love with eMEDIA and now have been spending too much time with Bill Nye. What can you do? I thought most of the sites were awesome. I felt a few had too complex of information on them for elementary school kids but other than that was very enjoyable!

September 17th 2009

I just finished my new UEN page. I thought this project was a lot of fun. It was fun to pretend to be a teacher for a bit. I liked my projects and I felt that they were very age appropriate. I really like my lesson plans, I felt like they were fun and entertaining as well as educational. I thought about adding a video but it was hard to find one that was appropriate for 2nd graders and I also was afraid of uploading it. Sometimes technology intimidates me. :)

Last week in class we went over our project for the week and was shown how to work our webpage. I thought the class went well even though the computes all kept freezing because of so many people being on them at once. I couldn't figure out how to upload pictures from my computer onto the site so it would be nice to figure that one out. I was also wondering if you have ever performed training in San Juan County because my father is sure he knows you. :)
